Just want to say hi to all the folks on the Walther forum. Special thanks for NM_99 for letting me know about this site (known as WilsonCQB on the Glock talk forum). Already browsed the forum last night and saw some good information.
I picked up my first Walther P99 in 9mm yesterday in all black.
It was made in 1999 and has all of the German proof marks. Somebody obviously didn't want it because it had been sitting at the dealer since '99 collecting dust. I put an end to that.
Will go out later today and give it a test. Has anyone noticed a preference on ammo with the P99's?
I know all guns are different, but was just wondering if someone out there has noticed a huge difference in say Federal FMJ 115gr vs Winchester 115 and so on.
Again, happy to be here.

Glad you made it over here.
Not a whole lot of traffic here, but the posts seem to be on subject and very informative, not a lot of fluff.
Val is the man when it comes to P99's.
