I picked up this little guy today off of the local Gun Trader. First variant with original magazine. I paid $350 which is a little over blue book but you don't often see Model 8s for sale these days and I had to have it.
New in the collection.... Model 8

Ran a dozen rounds through the Model 8 before work today. A very very sweet shooter indeed. I am afraid I won't be able to shoot it very much for now. The only mag is 98 years old and I don't want to take a chance on breaking it. If you see one for sale jump on it. I'm a bit surprised that the M9 gets so much more press here on WF than the M8.
