So I bought a CCP M2 about 3 weeks ago and the 2nd time I went shooting it jammed. So me and a couple of the guys at the range decided to get a good look at it. That's when we noticed the spring sticking out the back. Anyone have this issue with the 2nd gen??

Welcome Aboard. You'll get answers here, just not from me. I have a PPS, P99AS, and P99c but no CCP.

Welcome from the Cherry Capital ! ! . . . . ? :D
I bought the CCP M1, that weird takedown was enough for me.
Do yourself, and your wallet a favor, buy a Ruger American Compact, or their SR9c, I bought both, added new upgraded steel guide rods with18# springs. Fired them dry right out of the box 115gr FMJ 124gr JHP 147gr JHP and 158gr FMJ. Used Hornaday, Federal, Fiocchi, Nosler, and Lehigh Defense for my EDC ammo. Used all of it in the same mags, put 200 rds thru each gun. Not one issue threw all of it down range in a heart beat. Your walther problem solved. Sorry

Have been hanging around for all the great information. Hopefully I can start contributing a little too :D
CCP has issues

I had to sell mine to my gunsmith. I ended up with, don't laugh, a 380 Shield. I really like it because it's great with all different ammo and it's a breeze to shoot one handed.
