I don't quite understand what mark you are seeing/referring to on the frame. So the previous owner had the entire slide legend removed in the refinishing job and then re-engraved? Are you sure it's a million series gun? Did he have the serial number "re-engraved"? Besides the location of the Mod PPK, he forgot some punctuation. But who cares. It's a sharp looking shooter.hallo there! I´m glad to introduce my new piece, a ZM PPK 7,65 m/m, millionth series, probably made in 1939 (am I right?), reblued & completely renewed by gunsmith, with wooden stock and a front-checkered grip ... BUT I never ever, even after an lil´ web investigation, saw mark like that on my frame, the main difference is location of "Mod. PPK" in the front of the second link instead on the far right side, what is that?
