Greetings Everyone,

I came across this site while researching the P99. I have quite a few Glocks and S&W revolvers but wanted something different and the P99 has some appealing qualities.

The last Walther product I purchased was a P22 a couple of years ago and was less than satisfied with it, specifically finding metal being shaved off the slide rails after about 200 rds. (and yes it was well lubricated) and roll pins having a tendency to work themselves out.

I have researched the P99 pretty thoroughly and will probably purchase one with the AS type trigger when I get my money back from Uncle Sam, now the only question is 9mm or .40.

P.S. How easy and/or difficult is it to find additional magazines for the P99?

Not difficult at all if you have the money.

There's two right now on the for sale board for $70 USD. 9mm, Walther marked, made by Mec-Gar the original manufacturer.
