This is it. We're on the new server as of now. There were only a few incremental changes to the software, but they're worthwhile. I just created some new icons to go along with the theme.

Thanks, guys.  Hey, if you find anything missing - broken links, missing pictures, whatever... PM me using either the GothamMarketing or Administrator ID's.

Anyone with suggestions on what you'd like to see in the way of new sections, let me know.

IMPORTANT: If one of you guys has interest in volunteering to help promote WaltherForums through search engine listings, link/banner sharing or other methods, please reach out to me. I'm usually up to my eyeballs working to pay taxes in NJ so McGreevey can take another helicopter ride, so I haven't had time to focus in on doing it myself.

Can you give me a little more detail on how to promote this site through links, etc.?

I'm new to web hosting, but currently I'm the web designer/manager for our shooting clubs web site. I'd be more than happy to put a link on our site. What else could I do?

Here's our site:Parma Rod and Gun Club

I'm still learning and working on it, so don't laugh too hard if you find problems.

Thanks

Devin

Heh... well, the point was that I was looking for someone who's experienced in the area to take over that aspect.

Like the tweaks... interface is cleaner/better looking.

I try to get the word out at the other forums... as far as I know this is THE Walther forum... the new URL helps (or was it always waltherforums.com ?)

Oh yeah, just noticed that all uploaded avatars are available to other users... seems weird to me. Is there a way to prevent that ?

Yup, always was waltherforums.com/net, but I'm frame forwarding now, as opposed to just a regular page redirect.

Regarding the avatars, as far as I know, they always were available to everyone. Dunnow if there's any way to prevent it, but that's pretty far down the list of priorities relative to gettting the forum promoted. But I'll add it to the "list of things to do" for a future housekeeping session.

BTW, dunnow about you guys, but these smilies really bite. If anyone has a series that are better, like the ones at AR15.com or elsewhere, let me know.

Yeah, wasn't complaining a bunch about the avatars... just hadn't noticed that before. The site really does look good...

This dude has lots of smilies... couldn't find any other decent looking sights right of the bat, and I don't know much (i.e. anything) about forum management, etc... hopefully you can borrow/swipe a couple of these...

He's even got a bunch of cool gun/weapon related smilies...

Plus check this Bond/Walther-esque one...
