hello all. I have 2 P990's in 9mm (got as house guns). Along w/ other guns.
I called waltherusa to inquire about somehow removing the 2 reset clicks one feels when firing the 990 (you wont feel when dry firing, unless you keep the trigger held in and pull the slide back a little). That annoyance for me has me short stroking the P990's. No solution to that.
So, I ask about getting a P99 in the AS model. He told me that they just re-introduced them and that they should be available sometime this April.
So, has anybody heard this? Can anyone confirm or deny?
If confirmed, where can I get part numbers for the re-introduced P99 AS model pistols? I am looking for both a full sized and a compact in 40 or 9 (haven't totally decided on the caliber yet).
I just give my FFL a part number for a pistol and he orders it for me.
Please don't recommend I get the QA. I dry fired it and do not like it. Plus it does not have a second strike capability. I am set on the AS model.
Thx.
