Just acquired an S&W PPK/S. Found it had not had recall applied so sent back immediately to have it done. Need trying to gather as much info as possible while waiting for its return (7 weeks estimate).

Where can I find a parts list, manufactured date and other material. I looked at the posts on manufactured date but none referenced S&W so not sure if applies. Need the Parts list as the slide stop lever spring is missing (I think) and want to replace it. When disassembling the firearm after slide I’d off the slide lock lever just falls off and there is (was) no spring.

Any and all help is appreciated.

If you sent it back to Walther there's a good chance they will replace any broken or missing parts.

Unfortunately the recall is at S&W not Walther, but I am hoping they will do the same.

The impression here appears to be that Walther is covering warranty work, regardless of where the gun was made...tho' I wouldn't count on German/French parts being available.

Personal experience with S&W customer support has been excellent.
