i am shopping for my first handgun, and i am extremely interested in the P99 9mm with AS trigger. however, i have come across multiple item numbers for what seem like the same exact gun. for instance, bigskyguns lists what seem to be the exact same gun but with different item numbers and a $15 price difference. the item numbers are WAP77000 and WAP77010.

i will most likely get the compact model if i get a P99. bigsky lists a compact 9 with AS as item number WAP80002. is this the newer model or the older model?

how can you tell the difference between a new model and an old model?

GG,
I had the same question you had regarding the different item numbers. I believe that the difference between WAP77000 and WAP77010 is the size of the mags that are included (10 round vs. 15 round). That being said, I'm also looking to purchase my first P99 so I'll defer to senior owners on the board.

Best of luck
