I just made a deal on a LNIB Walther PPK/S in .380 acp. I've never had a small carry type gun like this and am pretty excited to get it. I do have a few questions. Some of my staff has told me that the PPK/S has a history of being unreliable, have you guys found this to be true??? Also I'm looking to buy another Magazine for it. I want to keep everything original Walther. Anyone have one for sale?

Hey thanks in advance,
Brad

THe American made models have that reputation. I've never experience a malfunction in a German built model.

They do seem to feed Silvertips reliably.

I have heard that the PPK/S American is unreliable (it says "made in USA" under the Walther banner on the slide). But I've had one over 10 years in Stainless and never had a problem with factory loads, hollow point or otherwise and I've shot a lot of different kinds of ammo with it - maybe I got lucky.

I've heard nothing but good things about the West German made pistols as far as reliability. I would like to have one of those myself.
