A buddy of mine mentioned that he saw someone at the range with a Doctersight mounted on a P99. I pressed for details but my friend didn't get anything but a look at it.

I thought they didn't make a doctersight mount for the P99, is it possible that another mount for a different gun fits it?

Try EGW, Evolution Gun Works, near Doylestown, PA. They used to make up mounts for another "reddot" sight similar to the Doctor. They do fine work on 1911 and Browning P35's.

Well it took a $hitload of emails, phone calls, etc to get someone at Docteroptics that knew wtf they were talking about, but here's the real deal:

Although it's not listed on their website, they DO manufacture a mount for the P99, and its code # is 55700-22.

You have to call them directly to order it, but they do stock it.

Hope this helps anyone looking for a non-obtrusive red dot sight that matches the diminutive P99 well. In fact, it would even be a fun little sight on a P99c because it should fit in most IWB holsters.

I'd never rely on something that requires batteries for my self-defense gun.
Other than that, it's a cool toy.
