Here's an article from Cylider & Slide on the PPK/S-1. I've already sent in my order now just waiting to hear from them that they're ready to receive my gun to start working on it.

I just e-mailed them as well, however,

"(Due to the large amount of e-mail we are receiving, please be patient as it may be six to eight weeks before we are able to respond to your request. Thank You.)"

6-8 weeks? They've got to be kidding...

Mine wasn't that bad. They got back to me in a few days. I think they just put that up there as a buffer.

I called them to make sure they got my fax with my order and credit card info. The nice lady told me that my ticket was started and it would be about 5 months before a would receive a letter confirming that they're ready to receive the gun. The there's the 4-8 weeks to work on it. All this means I should get it back around September.
