I understand that the German Army rejected the Model six because it is not a locked breech, dangerous in a 9mm parabellum etc. Yet the Astra 400 and 600, also not locked breech have been around since 1920 or so. In fact, the Germans used a lot of them in WW2. Was the rejection of the Model six a real concern or just a penchant for German over engineering? Just wondering
(The 600 used the 9mm luger, the 400 a 9mm largo)
