Hi, nice looking example and this is a second generation model (the decorated grip washers are from this generation), 1924 - 1934 circa 100K production. The Mod 9 was in series from 1921 - 1945 covering all the various model updates. The serial No. would indicate some minor production upgrades e.g. longer firing pin, S/No. on RHS, grips with chequered finish and large Walther logo to each side. Mechanically this combines the firing mech from the Mod 1 with the Mod 8 take down features. When cocked the rear of the striker protrudes through the rear face of the slide, this indicates the firearm is cocked whether loaded or not! There were upgrade available at the time to include Gold and Silver plate, with pearl or ivory grips. Engraved versions were also available - at cost! I have no knowledge of the holster, maybe this was specifically made?
