Just put another 200 rounds through my CCP, for a little over 1900 rounds, worked flawlessly. I will mention something that I have never mentioned before, I dont know why I have never metioned this before, maybe because it was early in my membership, although, I have been defending this firearm from day one, or maybe I just thought it was an insignificant modification, but anyway, I discovered that the casing of a round could possibly hit on the front edge of the magazine, before it starts up the ramp while being cycled. So, I ground about 3/32's out of the front relief portion of the magazine, marked in red below, and slightly beveled the back side of the relief to prevent this from happening. Whether this is one of the reasons that I am not having the troubles that others experience, I dont know, but I thought I would share, to possibly help others.
Ohh yeah, after shooting 200 rounds in about an hour, I will say, the CCP does get fairly warm, under these extreme circumstances. Although I work with my hands everyday and might be desensitized to heat, others might find it too much.

Interesting modification, Meho. I have had very few problems with my M1. I hope others with FTF will try this and post their results. Nice work.

Was giving up but now love it!

I posted a few weeks, maybe closer to a month ago, that I may have made a huge mistake regarding my CCP purchase. Well now after over 500 rounds and a gritty trigger issue I love this firearm. I watched a YouTube video on a gritty trigger fix and it actually worked. I finally got it dialed in, got a IWB holster from the Holster Store and it is a perfect carry firearm. Great weight, size, and great looking! Love it, sorry for all the bad things I said about it, I take them all back!

My M1 CCP has been a great shooter also. Mine is a 2015 manufacture, serial #WK0280XX
"D" letter magazines.

I've run two 200 round 115 gr brass Federal Champion boxes, that's 400 rounds, with 1 fail to feed, nose dived round.

I love the fact that you didn't give up after the first range trip, I have been defending this firearm non stop since I purchased mine about 15 months ago. Although, I probably have one of the last M1 models made, it has been a superb firearm, and trust it 100% with my life. I have 3 in my carry rotation, a CCP,
a hk vp9sk and a hk p30sk v4.1, and never once did I feel any less safe with the CCP, than I did with the 2 hk's.

My M1 CCP works fine also. Serial WK0754xx. Not a huge amount through it. Only four range sessions at a minimum of four magazines each time. Just enough to maintain minimal proficiency...very minimal. Using up some bulk reloads purchased from my from my old home range in SoCal. No FTF or FTE rounds. The CCP has become my nightstand firearm.
