This is the proof mark of a deactivated weapon in the UK.
The crossed swords are the proof mark of the Birmingham proof house,
The D and A denote Deactivation, the two numbers indicate the last two numbers of the year proofed, looks like 13 (2013) in this case.
There should also be a deactivation certificate issued by the proof house.
Since this pistol was deactivated the law in the UK has changed and it is illegal to sell, give, or loan a deactivated firearm without an enhanced European standard of deactivation proof and certificate, introduced in 2017..
