I just purchased a LNIB PP in .22, the serial number is 10151 B. I searched the sticky but found only info on .32 cals. Any info would be appreciated

Thanks

Sorry Scott, we are unable to help adequate. A Manurhin/Walther chambered in .22lr would show a LR-suffix, B was never (!) used. If I suppose, the serial is orignal except suffix, it's a 50's gun. But That's all I can tell.

I didn’t find any other stamps on the gun. Since the ser # for the PP .22 started at 100002 in 1954, I assume this is the 149th one made??

151 B is etched by hand. Very French the way they do their 1’s. I lived in Cognac, France for 6 months.

Yes, and I wonder about the 'B'-suffix. Never seen a marking like this. And it's def. not scratched...
