Does anyone know the last serial number for the Manurhin PPK/S in .22lr? I have #141367S and wonder how close it is to the end of production.

The last one per Dieter Marschall's book was 141477S. Can you tell me if the right side says Matra-Manurhin Ft Lauderdale or WTT-Sterling Va?

It was no imports marks and is not marked under license. The word "Walther," is not on the pistol.

It's a pure Manurhin then, no subtle import marks on the butt plate like 'TAI' either?

Yes a "100%" Manurhin. Had it's first range session last week. It was reliable and lots of fun. It had obviously been a safe queen since purchase, but I will shoot it often.

Is that factory original?? Rare?

It is the oldest serial number I have ever found. Durgarde was a finish applied from June 1984 thru early 1986 by Accurate Plating in the US for Manurhin to compete with Interarms Stainless Steel.
