Hi I’m new here, I tried checking around before posting this to see if someone touched on this issue already.

I have an M1 9mm PPQ, I’ve had it a few years with no issues, however today at the range my PPQ was falsely resetting on follow up shots during a short reset. It was happening sparatically. On some shots the short reset was fine but on others I would hear the audible click and feel the short reset in the trigger, but when trying to fire it wouldn’t. I would have to fully reset the trigger in order for it to fire.

Has anyone else had this issue? The range instructor was an avid Walther user as well and had three, he has never experienced this either.

First, I'd check the trigger bar to make sure it is centered on the firing pin block during the trigger press and release.

Could be several different things. It will drive you crazy trying to figure it out.

Send the gun back to Walther and let them troubleshoot it.
