If you shoot a lot shouldn't you use the best lube you can get? How many P99s can you lube with that $14 syringe you think? Perhaps you can use that high end lube on the slide rails and 'regular' lube elsewhere?
So far I haven't really seen any expensive lubes here. When we're talking relubing telescope mounts someone mentioned crytox or something like that which costs about $100 for a small container. It makes a $1400 mount freeze-proof though. Luckily a $4 tube of lube gel from Radio Shack works very well too
