I purchased a brand new PK380 and noticed that the slide was very loose and really rattled in my hand. I cleaned the gun using the tool and could tell that something was wrong because the trigger group seemed loose when I was cleaning it for the first time. I shot 10 rounds through it and 2 of them stovepipe and another one jammed. I immediately took the gun to my gunsmith and lo and behold, the gun's front and rear pins were NOT there. The factory forgot to put them in. He also noticed that the side stop spring was missing, so I had him check the entire gun out and that was all he could find. So, I had him order the parts and put them in. Guess what? The gun is rock solid, no rattling and no failures after 200 rounds. The point is, if you notice this with your NEW PK380, get it fixed quick. I was NOT going to get Walther involved in this especially when they were the ones who forgot to put it together correctly. Besides my gunsmith only charged me for the parts. Check your PK380 out, people. It may be a clicking time bomb.
