Looking for a Custom Shop for Walther

Hello, fellow gun enthusiasts,

I'm a proud owner of a Walther Q5 Steel Frame Pro and I've been pondering about getting some custom work done on it. I was hoping some of you here might have some recommendations for a reliable and professional custom shop that specializes in Walthers? I went through the pinned links but did not see anything.

To give you some context, I have a Beretta that was worked on by Langdon Tactical, and they did an excellent job. Similarly, I've had my P320 enhanced by the Sig Armorer, who also did some superb work.

Now, I'm looking for a similar kind of expertise for my Walther. I'm open to anything from slight modifications to full custom work. Any personal experiences or recommendations you could share would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Hello Asquiol. Welcome to the forum.

What are you looking to have done to your SF?

Most notably a trigger job and possibly upgrading the mag release, a guide rod and spring upgrade if possible, new suppressor height sights installed with an optics plate and rmr included.
Welcome in.

As far as shops go there aren't any that I've heard of that specialize Walthers. You're better off buying a dynamic performance trigger, getting the extended button, and buying the rest of the stuff and having any competent smith install it for you.

Earl's Repair comes to mind. He's probably as specialized in Walthers as anyone can imagine.

Cool, thanks, I'll keep that in mind, most of the pieces can be upgrades myself, but sometimes it is easier to have an expert do it, I live sort of in BFE deep in the mountains so a competent smith would not be easy to find within a many hour drive. I'll check out Earl's Repair, thanks again.
I've read Earl's name mentioned many times in comments on gun forums. That said, a quick search turned up this...

Good luck with your search.
