Looking at a PPK in SS

Tell us more. Caliber? Manufacturer? Does spare magazine mean two, total?

Interarms - yes (I paid $400 for mine, but it was a good deal)...

S&W - no (just because I don't think S&Ws are even worth buying, personally)

Especially because so many S&Ws were screwed up not by previous owners' modifications, but by the factory at Houlton.

I love my 2012 S&W SS PPK in .32. haven't had any problems with it. I guess I'm not one of the cry babies.

9MM Kurz, wouldn't consider anything smaller...

Two Mags, not sure of country of manufacture, yet.
Looks really clean, though, if it's been fired, I'd be surprised.

All stainless models were made in the USA.


I have a stainless PPK 32 made by S&W. It works well. I'd give 460 for a Ranger in 32 but 380/9mm Kurz PPKs don't interest me - so I'd probably pass.

Is it marked as Interarms or Smith & Wesson?
The Interarms guns are more desirable,
as are the .32 caliber iterations.

The price of there guns are not going down. you can get it now or two years later for $200.00 more.

So little love for the S&W version. I have a PPK/S SS in .380. Works fine and have put couple thousand rounds down range. My only complaint is the lack of an external slide lock. It is my everyday carry on warm days, G26 on cool days. Since I live in Florida, most days are warm.
