So I have a fairly new pk380 with the integrated laser, (it's a thing) and noticed my laser was completely dead, thought I left the switch on by accident. Changed batteries and the old ones were oily from cleaning the pistol, I guess. Put new batteries in, and it works again, but when I shut the switch off, the laser stays on. Really dim, but stays on. Brighter when switched on. I cleaned the battery housing, but am at a loss. Anyone have similar issues or experience removing the laser from the frame? I don't want to take it out if I don't have to, took a minute to zero it in...

If the laser is a factory part, contact Walther.

Otherwise, drip some alcohol into the switch while rapidly switching it from on to off until the alcohol is gone. If that doesn't fix it, find someone who is handy with a soldering iron and replace the switch.

But first, follow the procedure for a warranty claim.
