I have a friend with a .40 cal Glock. I'll bring the P99 over next time I'm over there and take a look. I don't have high hopes, but it's worth a look....

Sorry to drag up an ancient thread, but I finally got around to comparing the guide rods on the P99 (AD date code) and the 45 cal Glock (21 I believe). As expected, no dice. The glock guide rod is remarkably similar, but smaller diameter and longer by about 1/2 in. Ah well, perhaps another model?
