Thanks Steve. I've been fortunate enough to collect a few nice pieces over the years, but I have to say, if times ever really get tough, these would be among the last to go. Hopefully, my young son will someday enjoy them.

172780, Earl's, acquired 12/`13 from Tx gun shop at $2500.......
My lucky day!

......which I now see was already on the list. Oops. No special markings, just the NSN, "L102A1" & Earl's marking under the slide rails.- I wish more importers would use that method of marking.

Not sure if anyone is still keeping up with this list anymore, but I just picked up a NIB L102A1 from a Gun dealer in Texas two weeks ago with box and all paperwork. It is number 172619 from Earls Repair Shop Import with date code of KB 1991. I really like the feel and look of the parkerized finish on the L102A1 model. It looks like I will have to sell one of my commerical NIB P5C to pay for it.

I almost snagged that at the "min bid" price.
JArmory has their GB guns displayed in store, and for sale at the min bid price.
I was to the store a few minutes after the gun was put into the back because the 1st GB bid was placed.😟
Got to handle and inspect it while there, a really pristine example.👍
Great group of guys at JArmory, my quick stop-ins to see what's new usually last for over an hour.
Congratulations on the purchase.

Thanks, I was shocked to see it listed as a P5 and not L102A1 or compact for under $1,400, so I placed a bid on it quickly to lock in the auction. I was surprise on how pristine it was, so much better than the pictures. Been looking for one for sometime. They have a lot of nice guns there online and this particular one was a consignment from an estate collection and they sold a P5 before this one from same estate.
