Didn’t realize how common a message like this would be. Our family is moving/packing and my mother informs me I need to ‘deal with’ a pistol a client of my now deceased father gave him 50 years ago that’s been sitting on top of ductwork in our basement....

Hello, antique p38. Spent the day cleaning/researching it/getting it registered so I can legally own it/transport it here in Canada.

It’s a Spreewerk from what I can tell. (I see someone was selling Spreewerk books here years ago... still available?)

I’ll attach pictures... can anyone give some guidance on what I should do with this thing?

I DO want to fire it. Not a lot, but yes, use it. (Won’t replace my ppq)
