Pretty sure that's a post-Ranger/Interarms and Pre-S&W import.

"Carl Walther USA LLC Alex. VA"....was just right before S&W took over.... only guns from 1999 should be marked as such... In 2000 it was "Walther USA" but it already had the S&W address
