So I'm looking at getting a threaded barrel for my Q5 from Jarvis. I was wondering if anyone here has purchased a barrel from them and if they are a good choice.

I'm looking in to getting some compensator's for it as well as a suppressor.

9MM Drop-in

I'm new to Walther and the Forum. My M2 .40 is a sweet shooter. I got a drop-in 9mm Conversion this week from Jarvis. I put 250 rds. thru it at an indoor range and it did not disappoint. Zero problems and great groups off-hand.

I stick to 124 gr coated bullets (SNS conical and Acme round nose) and stay about 10% below max loads.

I have recently done a drop-in and a fitted barrel from jarvis, Did accuracy test from a pistol vise at 25 yds.Used 8 different brands and weights of ammo. The drop-in barrel was not much better in accuracy than stock barrel, but the fitted barrel was very accurate, well worth the money spent. The drop-in barrel averaged 3 inch groups at 25yds. The fitted barrel averaged 1 1/4 inch groups, with top quality JHP ammo i could get 7/8 inch groups.

Interesting. Did you see a tendency to favor a certain weight bullets?

I have a 5 inch PPQ with a Jarvis fitted barrel but confess I've never gotten around to doing structured accuracy testing with it.
