Hi All,

I've read through the permitted firearms for Production list and even then I'm a little confused as to the eligibility of the Q5 SF variants. Hopefully someone here can shed some light.

As far as I can tell the standard PPQ Q5 Match Steel Frame is permitted for Production and Production Optics. But what about the Steel Frame Champion (adjustable sear) and Expert (sear and trigger).

Any insights will be most appreciated!

Hi!

I am also interested. Have you got any info about the Expert model? The only thing I heard is that you have to detach the magwell.

Hi Fred,

Here is the info from my RD regarding the Q5 SF for IPSC:

Only the Q5 SF and Q5 SF Champion are allowed for IPSC production/production optics. In the case of the Champion the magazine well MUST be removed.

The Expert model with adjustable trigger is not compliant with IPSC production/production optics use.

Hope this helps.
