My '92/93 Interarms .380 PPK is about to hit 5000 rounds (in my hands), and I've had a few issues most likely related to a weakened recoil spring (mostly failure to return to battery). So, I need a replacement, and wondered how much success others have had with the 20# Wolff spring. My understanding is that 20# is the factory weight.

I do carry this gun, so 100% reliability is important, and it's what the gun was providing until recently.

I felt sure there'd be an older thread on this, but I didn't find one. Sorry if I missed it.

Good luck with your hunt. I can say that the Wolff springs I have used have each worked as advertised and seem true to specs. I have replaced Hi-Power, K2-45 (stronger spring), P226, and PA-63 (Communist PPK clone) factory springs with Wolff springs.

You can find them from several sites online by doing a search for the factory 20lb spring. They were plentiful in my search for them last year for my parts stash.
