Thanks for posting the UIT photo. The KKM model is not quite the same stock as your 1969 UIT.
The early rifles (mid 1950s?) Craig and I have are actually 'cut-back' in the front of the stock, as in Craig's photos and my attachment here. The UIT models I have seen (photos only) are definitely squared off. Both are different from the 1960s models which are rounded in the front of stock.
I also have a small photo, found years ago on a French web-site, of a 1950s KKM-Match (thumbhole stock) which has the same cut-back fore-end as our KKMs. I understand ours predate 1958, because that was the year that Germany started putting the 2 digit year in the proof marks and ours have no year identification with the proof marks.

UIT

This is the only UIT I have now. Still have my Running Boar and 4 KKJ’s. Had a sportmodel meisterbusche pre war for a couple years. The guy wanted to buy it back so I relented and sold it back to him.

Nice guns guys.
