I inherited a Walther (but apparently I can't upload a picture).

Since I can't upload a pic...can someone address the following observations and Q's:

1) The serial number is "381407 p ac". 'ac" is stamped directly below the serial number on the slide, not the frame. Serial number including 'p' matches on both slide and frame.

2) The manufacturer is NOT stamped on the slide.

3) Is it a PP or PPK?

4) Is it a .32 cal?

5) Since the magazine is missing...did it originally come with a 6-round mag?

6) Any idea what it might be worth?

Sorry! I wish I could upload a pic...I get an error message, and it doesn't give me enough information to figure out why it can't be uploaded. I've tried uploading a PNG, JPG, and a bitmap file. Even tried to cut/paste into the thread directly, and tried to put it in a Word doc. All fail!

You have a later war production PP produced by Walther. The caliber is .32 acp / 7.65mm Br.
AC was the wartime code used by Walther. The magazine takes seven rounds. The image you posted is very poor and a value estimate cannot be made

Still a poor image with little contrast, but I see pitting on the slide and frame, broken grip, no magazine and variation in finish. To me it's a shooter with a value of $500-$700. Try Gunbroker.com.
