Good choice. I picked mine up because it was a deal but I wanted to not like it. I have several Glocks and I appreciate them, but don't enjoy shooting them. Ergonomics are better on the Walther, but I thought it was a little big and heavy for the category. It has been a better shooter than G43 or Shield for me.

I’m a Glock guy too. 5 currently. The choice was $450 or $320. This thing looks way better on the inside and better finished. I like the double feed ramps. 150 mixed brass steel hollow points and Fmj. It will fulfill a roll in deep carry.

Which mags do you use most of the time?

The 7 rounders are best for me. 6 rounders are good for pocket (when I'm wearing pants with big pockets) but the Walther is just too big and heavy for that role. 7 gives me good comfort while driving, good concealment and good purchase on grip drawing from IWB. I never bought any 8 rounders.

After years of owning and carrying a variety of 9mm pistols I bought a PPS M2 to shake down over the course of 1,000 rounds. I completed that effort two months ago. The gun worked perfectly during that break in period. I push an EDC hard in the beginning because if it is going to fail I want it to fail early on before I rely on it daily. Of the nine compact and subcompact 9mm pistols I have owned and tried the PPS M2 is in my opinion better than every other. I think I just found the pistol that was will be my EDC for years to come. The pistol with the 7 round magazine is an ergonomic delight that enhances the best built pistol I have owned. The rail size alone sets it above others not to ignore the impressive fit of slide to frame that has no wobble after 1,000 rounds. It is simply a great gun.

Thinking of going all 7 rounders as well. Does the trigger pinch any of you? This thing is way over built for what it is! Like a tank! I like the way it’s made but trigger pinch at bottom was very negative. Can you take it apart and polish the trigger guard?

No trigger pinch here...or accidental hitting mag release. I never could figure that one out. I guess my instructors taught me well or poorly. Only mod I did to mine was add rubber traction grips. I don't round count, but probably over 3000. No issues.

The only mod to my LE is a Hogue HandAll Beavertail that places my trigger fingers exactly where they are supposed to be for me. Slightly in front of the distal joint crease.

Does the trigger pinch any of you?.. polish the trigger guard?
Not me. My fingers are a bit long and rather slim. At least that's what she said.

I do not know if polishing the trigger guard would help avoid the pinching. Perhaps a higher hold could be the solution so that you can pull the trigger straight back but with a slight upward slant. I guess it all depends on how big/wide/thick your trigger finger is.

Holding pretty high already. There was a little bit of flashing in the rear of the trigger guard I didn’t see til I got it home. A few careful passes with a sharp blade and it’s gone. Got big fingers. But it’s more comfortable now.

Couldn’t get used to the grip at all and the difference in the mags I’m used to. I traded it for a G43 today and have been wearing it for the last 5 hours, I lost money on it by t it has a grip angle I’m used to. Sorry guys.

I’m glad I had this pop up. 15 yards confident with this pistol. I overspent because of the trade but this one will work for me. Better groups too.
