It came in today, my Comp-tac CTAC IWB holster!! Man is this thing awesome! it's so adjustable and due to the double belt clip is extremely solid on the belt. (empty anyways) I'm at work, so cannot try it out, but I'll post pics later with my P99 in it. I tried it on without my gun and I"m wearing a pretty snug light shirt today, and could hardly see it! It's also firm enough so that it won't crush without the pistol in it.

Here's a link for anyone interested.
Comp-tac
I got the C-T.A.C model. It' s IWB and tuckable.

No problem M700, I got my P99 in it last night, and man is it nice. Fits perfect, and there's an lightly audible click as it locks into place. It holds in very firm, but comes out when you need it too. This thing is gonna make CCW a whole lot easier for me!!

C-Tac, I have been mulling that one over for the past few weeks. I need a really good IWB, and I liked the look of the C-Tac, but I was warned away from it because I was told that Kydex destroyed the finish.
How do you like it? Comfort? Any feedback from an owner would be great. Also, how was ordering from CompTac? Was the service good, and how long did it take for you to get the holster?
Sorry to hammer you with the
?

Please dont take this personally guys but........if these guns are sooo well built and finished then how the [email protected] can "plastic" destroy the finish on them? I've had my p99 in 40 cal. in a fobus paddle for apprx. 5 months now and i"m just not seeing it. The finish on the p99's SHOULD be considerably harder and more durable then plastic or kydex by far, should'nt it?

I'm using a Blade-Tech holster with my P99. Not sure if it's holster RESIDUE or actual WEAR, but the finish IS marred....especially around the forward edge/flats of the slide.

Mr.Pickles, No problem, I don't mind answering the
First, I absolutely love the comfort, it's much better then my Kramer leather IWB. I think it's cuz it's so much thinner material. Also much more stable due to the outriggings. I've had my P99 .40 in and out of it alot in the last week or so, and there is no finish wearing as of yet. Actually, when I use my Kramer it leaves what looks like wear on the slide, but a little Militec and a cloth leave it looking unscathed. As for long term with the kydex, I can't comment, but I like to think the tennifer treatment will hold up well. As far as ordering from comp-tac, no problems there what so ever. I ordered it on a Thursday online, and had it Tuesday AM. Very easy to deal with, and very satisfied. Overall I'm very happy with it. I put it on the night I got it with my kaki pants and button up dress shirt tucked in before my brother in law came over and he never noticed I was carrying. Even after I told him to look for my gun on me, he couldn't find it until I untucked my shirt and showed him where it was. That sold me on it, cuz he's pretty good when it comes to attention to detail.

I know I said it before, but I'll honestly try to get pics up with the gun in it and hopefully with it concealed and tucked away.

Good luck, I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a concealable stable IWB holster.

Thanks

jaylsb, thanks much for all of the info. I am still a bit on the fence, but your answers were a big help.
I know it's going to be a Milt Sparks watch6 or a CompTac, just can't pick. Both holsters are almost the same, just one is leather, the other is kydex. One of these days I will make up my mind

I do have to say, CompTac's quick service is a big plus. I have heard of others waiting 2-3 months for a MiltSparks

{and before anyone flames me, yes I am well aware of MS quailty, and yes it's top notch, but i still don't want to wait three months}
Thanks again jaylsb!
