not much, scrub out the barrel, wipe out the brass shavings inside the slide, and a little lube on the locking lug, barrel and slide, little goes a long way. That's it. I use the oily patch to wipe the recoil spring because it rubs on the frame but I don't think it makes a difference. I don't really do it all that often. I'm treating it about like a Glock
Basics would include running an oiled bore snake through the barrel. And rails, I very lightly oil the spring, the outside of th barrel and the bolt face. I mostly shoot Blazer so the gun stays clean mostly. I did make the mistake of blowing 100 rounds of Monarch and will never buy that crud again. I had to clean soot out of even the magazine after.
