What are your favorites? I have a fobus for my p99 but am a little concerned that my pp will show a little more wear on the finish with the same holster. I am open to both iwb and belt suggestions. thanks

Just got the Galco SOB in the mail today. This thing is pretty nice. It can not only be used in the small of the back but as a front cross-draw rig as well. This is REAL handy for Ohio's new CCW law that says that the gun must be carried in plain view while in a car (that includes everyone in the car, not just the driver).

The SOB I have I think is rather old. When it's old the belt the gun sits completely horizonal. From the pictures I've seen of newer SOB's, there is about a 10 degree angled cant upwards. But I've only seen the models with larger framed guns in them.

I just got the USA this afternoon and it's a little stiff. Galco said that's so it's a little easier to re-holster. It doesn't have that metal reinforcment at the top of the holster like the Ultra Deep Cover does (I have a Ted Blocker X16 like that). I'll just leave the gun in it so it can take the right form, just like a baseball glove with a ball in it. I wore the holster (no gun) around work today and nobody noticed (and I didn't tell anyone either). It's a little uncomfortable but I'm sure that will get better with time.

Best price I found for the USA was at Arizona Gun Runners for $63.36 shipped (UPS Ground to Cincinnati).
