Now it just depends. I like to treck about in the woods doing some hunting and shooting and it is in some pretty rough scrub in the hollers of KY. The holster you picked is a good one but in my opinion too nice for out in the bush. Muzzle is exposed and briars can easily scratch both the gun and the expensive leather. I use a rather simple but tough rig. An Uncle Mikes "Black" belt and nylon holster. Covers a good portion of the gun, has and extra mag pouch and in fairly inexpensive. Suit me well, holds up just fine and I save some money. FWIW:rolleyes:

I do alot of trecking through thick brush and for long distances. I use an uncle Mike's shoulder holster. You don't notice the handgun is there yet it's readilly accessible. It has a good strap to hold the gun in place and covers the gun well keeping it from catching on shrubs and branches.
