Holster Help

The holster that came with the pre war FN Hi Power my dad brought home from the war does not look like a military issue. I am thinking it could be police issue, any help would be great. Are there any books on this matter also on the pre war FN Hi Power? Thank You wide butt

Before anyone jumps on me, I am not an expert. BUT, I haven’t seen a holster from that period with a belt type catch. Typically they have a button, a snap, or a simple cinch type of closure.

Hi Jaake I agree with you on that type of catch. The few I have see were German but not for the army. I was hoping for a book on holster. Thank You for you help wide butt

I don't think that holster will be found in any reference books. It looks home-made.
