Howdy, I was looking online for hi capacity magazines for the 9mm P99, and came across this: http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/49223-57837-1348.html

Does anyone have experience with this magazine/website as far as quality product and service?

30 Rounds sounds like a LOT of fun...

It just seems fishy that a 30 round mag would be cheaper than a 15 or 16 rnd.

I saw this video online, and although he looks like a serial murderer frat boy, it still looks like fun for out in the backwoods in Idaho...

It is rather cheap...I may get one just to see, and if I like it, and it functions well I'll write a review up in this thread. My P99 is not for SD, if is for fun :)

The P99c using a P99 mag needs a sleeve to prevent jaming the mag too far in, to eliminate damaging the extractor. I'm guessing you should be careful inserting the longer mag into the full size P99 for the same reason.

yeh and that freakin walther mag is:

#1; ONLY 20 rounds... thats only 4 more rounds..?!!?

and

#2 costs $95 thru Earls!! WTF? $95 for 4 more rounds?

personally, i would NEVER consider carrying this huge 32 round magazine at all.... its just for fun... so my thumbs wont bleed from loading so many magazines.....
and yes, it IS wise to carefully insert it

I think I'm going to order a 30-rounder, should probably get a mag-loading aid too, seeing as you could wear your thumb absolutely raw loading 30 rounds...

I'll let ya'll know how it turns out when I get it/fire it.

If it turns out not to work, it'll at least be a great conversation piece, and something to laugh about.

Well, mine is ordered, so I'll let everyone know how it goes when I finally put a few rounds through it, and maybe do a preview when I just see how it fits in the gun...

I have a couple of Walther 20 round magazines. They work fine, but they aren't good for much except shooting an extra five rounds fast. They are worthless for carrying. They could be handy as a spare magazine for the nightstand.

I'm up to ten 15, two 10, and two 20 round magazines now. The Uplula loader makes it much easier to load everything. I also have eight 10 round magazines for my Glock 30.

How much did you spend for the 20 round magazines?

I don't carry right now, don't have my CC permit, my P99 is like...a 9MM awesome looking plinker, I guess :) And SD if I happen to have it when an opportunity arises, which I hope it doesn't.

Upon initial inspection, the 30 round clip seems to be of sturdy construction, and fits well into the P99. It releases a little differently, makes a sound, but doesn't seem to be a problem. I'll report again after I put 30 rounds into the thing and take it to the range (or the woods)

I'll definitely let everybody know if it works, and how well if it's marginal. I can't wait to give it a shot.

Good grief...a 30 round magazine sounds ideal if you wear a baseball cap cocked to the side, baggy pants 5 sizes too big, and drive around with the car stereo cranked all the way up making thumping sounds. Make sure you hold the gun sideways for that dramatic gangbanger effect.
