Hi. I live in Baton Rouge and my wife just gifted me a PPQ .45. I’m looking forward to gaining some knowledge from this forum and shooting this weapon.

Welcome to the Forums. You'll find the Q45 a highly accurate and soft shooting weapon. It makes a great EDC or range toy.

If you choose to use it as your EDC I'd suggest you consider swapping out the sights for some good night sights.

I use a Q45 as my EDC for both work and play and have TruGlo TFX Pro night Sights mounted on my Q. They are robust and offer great target acquisition and reacquisition in almost every lighting situation including dawn and dusk (when most other night sights seem to fail).

The only other thing I swapped out (which wasn't really necessary)was the RSA I mounted a BT guide rod.
