Cool ! That's quite the assorted collection...

Are you in Europe ? Seems that way from your choices... or maybe you're a US based Euro gun fan...

Come to think of it, you're right. It's definitely European. No kidding, I had not noticed that before. Must have a chemical imbalance in my grey matter
.

Beautiful Tampa Bay area. Home of the Lightning(GO BOLTS!) and the Bucs(go bucs). And last(Oh YEAH!) but not least, the Devil Rays. Hey, we're trying, OK.

Hello Mr. Blasing,
P220 can be found here in the states in four calibers. 7.65P(.30 Luger), 9mmL, .38 Sp and .45 ACP. All made in Europe and some rarer than others, of course. Made in USA, .45 ACP only.

European versions all have the mag release in the grip heel. American version, mag release button.

The 220 is definitely an impressive handgun no matter the caliber. Just like your collection.

Why the P2000 over a P99 ? As far as I can see H&K just ripped off most of the elements of the P99 to make the P2000... plus it's WAYYYYYY more expensive.

What's your reasoning ?

My list changed again. Now it looks like this,

Walther PP Super 9x18U
Benelli B-82 9x18U
Sig P230 9x18U
Walther PP Super 380
Walther P-5 9mmL
East German Makarov 9x18M
Bulgarian Military 9x18M
Beretta 8045D

The Benelli was feeling lonely. No one to practice italiano with.

[Edit] Added a Para-Ordnance 12-45 Ltd. Probably the Beretta will go. I guess my Benelli will have to learn English, German, French or Bulgarian!

I have decided to stick with the comfortable ones. So now the list looks like this;

Walther PP Super 9x18U
Benelli B-82 9x18U
Sig P230 9x18U
Bulgarian military 9x18M
East German 9x18M
S&W 1006
Para-Ordnance P12-45

The S&W 1006 is my usual workweek carry. The P12-45, my usual weekend carry. Still looking for a Tanfoglio GT-30 9x18U, a Tanfoglio TA18 9x18U, the Renato Gamba Mauser HSc Model 80 9x18U and the 1935-1936 Walther PP that started the 9x18U thing.

Forgot. Still have the PP Super .380 but selling. Reason? I'm 52 or 53, can't remember such small details. Guess we turn picky with age. Keeping it simple.

Btw. The Mauser HSc that I purchased and received turned out to be a 9mm kurz. Seems seller confused it with 9mm Ultra.

Welcome, GotGlock19. Fine shooter you have there. And the DT ammo, nice touch!

My list now looks like this,

Walther PP Super 9x18U
Benelli B-82 9x18U
Sig P230 9x18U
Bulgarian military 9x18M
East German 9x18M
ASAI OnePro .45

Extremely happy with the setup. Now, if only I could find a nib Renato Gamba Mauser HSc model 80 9x18U.
Have my sights on an ASAI OnePro9. Make things even.
