Well that's no good. I hope Bar-Sto will come up with something to make it good. And it always pays to keep all original parts around just in case of such an event...I've know people who have bought aftermarket parts, sold original stuff and only later wished that they had kept the orginials in case of emergencies...

I don't remember anyone complaining about this problem with a Walther factory barrel ?? Maybe Ivr. sees more defective barrel reports than we do.

Now that is an interesting note...can't recall ever hearing about factory barrels having problems? And I wonder if the problem would be with the .40s?

Now I don't have a .40 but from what others have said, it is a bit snappier in recoil than the 9mm. Do you think this extra "recoil" could account for the srtess that made the barrel foot come off?
