I think I can predict most of the answers leaning toward the AS. It's a hellova trigger system and, since it's no longer imported, getting difficult to find.

Yes, the QA has a heavier pull and no single action. It's much like a Glock, where the striker is partially cocked. I own a QA and like it a lot, but I'd snap up the AS and get a QA later if I thought I wanted one.

I myself have been testing the trigger configurations of the P-99 in these days and I prefer the AS...

The AS is what makes the P99 a unique firearm
The QA is just a..........................................Ho Hum, another polymer double action only handgun.
