Welcome Riley.....guitar player? Opinions will be along shortly regarding the pistol. At least you put up some pictures. That is step one. 1917

The serial shows that it was made in 1944, and it looks like a legit WWII pistol to me. Seems like it has quite a bit of wear, but those "ersatz" grips are really cool!

For prices, go to GB and look up "closed auctions". Better gauge on "value".

As a general rule, PPs go for less than PPKs. Special things about the gun may change that (i.e. waffenamts, duralum, grips, numbered mags, type of mag, etc) and refinished vs. original also impacts 'value".

Being a matching number late war with appearingly original ersatz grips, nothing about the pictures strikes me as being over the general average of "previously sold" values, and the sight, as mentioned, may decrease the value slightly.

From the picture it looks like a 1944 PP.

Are there 1 or 2 magazines with the gun and are the magazines marked with a 'w'?
How does it look inside?
