Hello, all. I'm an old, retired guy who has been into handguns for about 7 years. Most of my handgun experience is with metal framed/hammer fired pistols ( love 1911s). I recently picked up my first Walther, a PDP. I've got a lot to learn about this weapon and will have a lot of dumb questions. Glad to be here!

From a fellow newbie, welcome! Yeah, I love 1911s too. I have a Glock 30S and it just doesn't compare to my 1911. But then again, when I first entered the Army we were issued the 1911 so maybe I'm biased.
