HK (and Walther) whore here. How did you already get one to know it’s not that much thinner than a VP9SK? Didn’t think they had hit dealers yet? I will buy one and reserve all judgement only after I’ve put some rounds thru it. Crossing fingers. And if it does not live up to the hype, I will use it as my beater truck gun.
The above is not my picture, but the benevolent ones at HKPro have access to it already. For "purposes". Word is its slimmer, but to me, not enough to compel me to spend money to the tune of $1000 per millimeter of thickness. I'm sure it's a great pistol, but with the form factor of pistols that already on the market (Shields and P365s), its a hard sell for me.

Yeah....what's that about? Great quality guns with mediocre (If I'm being kind) triggers.

Why?

Maybe that's not quite fair. The P7s I used to shoot had good triggers. I really like their LEM trigger.

They CAN make good triggers but I guess sometimes feel their customers are not worthy. ;)
I'm willing to bet the triggers are due to the military contracts their weapon systems usually fill. Figure for drop testing and whatever. Remember how atrocious the triggers were on the roller lock guns? Yikes!

I have owned over 26 different HK pistols, but I'm not in love with them anymore like I
once was.. My collection is now down to a Mark 23, USP Expert 9, USP 9, and USP 45
They are good pistols, but they really aren't as special as HK wants you to believe.
I'm actually surprised you still own the Mark 23. I haven't bought an HK pistol in about two years now. Still like the legacy offerings better.
