I much prefer my Canik MC9 over the Sig 365 in just about every way, especially the near Walther-like trigger. It fits my hand better too. Don’t get me wrong, I like my HK VP9SK with the SCS optic, but I carry either the PDP compact with SCS optic or the MC9 with 507K. Despite all the good argument against the “need” of one of these…I’ll probably get one because they're bomb-proof and, well, I fall for marketing and am a sucker.

Just like I was a sucker for the new Bodyguard 2.0 - which I gotta say…I love it!

BTW, the CC9 HK is already in Handgun Hero for comparison.

Sorry man, I didn’t read the very last post of 40+ when I was simply responding to some earlier posts. Please forgive me for I have sinned. I will endeavor to never disappoint you again. I am now a broken man, being the first person to ever repeat something already said on this forum. I may never recover from the shame.

BTW, according to a reliable source, the CC9 is up on Handgun Hero.

Hopefully that means HK avoids the new gun bobbles that have plagued some other companies small gun introductions.

This may have been said before, but TFB on YouTube had actually been hands on with it the last three years as they continued to test and improve, and he said he thought it was goood-to-go back then! He said it’s over-engineered and tested beyond any reasonable limits. I don’t watch him a lot so I don’t know if he likes every single gun that he reviews . . . like some tubers seem to do. His biggest beef was the ambi mag release button!

But of course, there’s always something unanticipated no matter how hard you try to cover all the bases on a new product. Like you, I still want to give it the in-hand test as well. It’s not like my MC9 and 365 suck so bad that I’m looking for something new right this second. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t buy it if I saw it at the store today either. 🤷‍♂️

Also great move on HK manufacturing the CC9 here in USA and I expect the same from Walther eventually for a "micro 9MM". Apparently from what I have read German export laws are extremely strict on exporting and do not allow/very difficult for the "micro 9MM pistols". SIG got tired of dealing with their export laws, among other things, and shut down operations totally in Germany some years back.

SIG probably had to leave because Germany couldn’t produce enough energy to manufacture. That’s why they had to cut back on the drop safeties in the 320s/M17s as a cost and energy saving measure.
