I've owned a couple dozen HK pistols (still have 4) and I think they are good, but definitely not
as great as HK and their fanboys would like you to believe them to be. There was a time when
I bought into the HK Hype, But I came to my senses a couple of years ago and will not be buying
anymore of them. YMMV.

I'm actually surprised you still own the Mark 23. I haven't bought an HK pistol in about two years now. Still like the legacy offerings better.
The Mark 23 will eventually be given to my youngest Son, he's always liked them.

I have owned over 26 different HK pistols, but I'm not in love with them anymore like I
once was. My collection is now down to a Mark 23, USP Expert 9, USP 9, and USP 45
HK makes good pistols, but they really aren't as special as HK wants you to believe.

Also great move on HK manufacturing the CC9 here in USA and I expect the same from Walther eventually for a "micro 9MM". Apparently from what I have read German export laws are extremely strict on exporting and do not allow/very difficult for the "micro 9MM pistols". SIG got tired of dealing with their export laws, among other things, and shut down operations totally in Germany some years back.
No thanks. I only buy HKs that are made in Germany.

I am a long time HK fan and have owned own many of them, but there's no way I would buy this thing. It's not made in Germany, has no paddle release, and looks like a fooking Taurus. I can hear Sig and Sprigfield Armory Laughing! I predict this CC9 will be a huge flop (Hopefully) for HK.
