To everyone and anyone who has any generation P99 other than the first gen, K&D Holsters cannot make us a holster. They also feel they shouldn't make holsters for the .40cal pps, at least just yet.

Just a heads up, save everyone some time.

If you are who I think you are, you have no reason for concern. I have the most recent gen of the P99 Compact. In fact, your holster was put into the mail to you today. It's the 1st gen of the full size P99 that I have.

Until I can verify the technical specs of the PPS .40 cal version, I hesitate to accept any orders for it.

Kevie-kev, would you be comfortable in accepting orders for the .40cal pps now?(haahha I'm pluggin your name...free advertismant) if so, I'd like to continue my order....dibs on first production?! Let me know. But then again....the power word quoted from uncut is "should"


While I'm at it, please advise me if the p99 2nd gen models are availble for production

Thats pretty normal for a custom leather holster from a quality craftsman. 12-16 weeks is average time to wait.

Matt DelFatti's wait is not counted in weeks anymore.... his wait time is in months.... 18 or so it is right now....
I had called Milt Sparks yesterday.... and they told me to check back about every month for PPS holsters as they have not even ordered a PPS yet....
I would love to have the VMII or the Summer Special-2 for my PPS
So maybe we should turn up the heat on them

Ahhh you meant this past summer.....I though you meant last summer as in 18+months

Kevin I don't know what your experience with them is as far as longevity goes but ring's sells a 2nd generation p99 gun in .40 that should let you make holsters for 9mm and .40

My Holster for my P99 Compact arrived today......NICE!!!!!! My PSS almost fits in it, and I think if I stretch the trigger guard just a bit it will fit perfect.

Thank you for that info. I searched and could not find anything specific for the .40 caliber.

I often buy from the folks at Rings. Thanks for the info and I'll give them a call and see if I can get my hands on one. The P99 I originally got from them is the 1st gen, but that was a couple of years ago.
